Synchronous Live Class Details
Synchronous live classes are delivered online, in real-time. A registered Saskatchewan teacher instructs students through an online platform. Classes are booked at set times and the teacher leads the online interactive class through lessons, assignments and feedback.Students can also book meetings with teachers outside of the scheduled class time for additional support.
Just like in a face-to-face class, students are required to attend the live class and if they anticipate missing it, the student needs to make arrangements with the teacher, prior to class.
2024 - 2025 Live Class Timetable
In addition to most core high school courses, Sask DLC is offering a selection of modified courses in a live class environment for the 2024-25 school year. These include: Math 11, ELA 11 and Science 11 in Semester 1 as well as Math 21 and Math 11 in Semester 2.
Registration for Semester 1 synchronous live classes is now closed. Registration for Semester 2 synchronous live classes closes on February 7. Registration for asynchronous, learn at your own pace courses remains open.
