Registration Deadlines and Key Dates

We have registration and course drop deadlines for our Sask DLC high school courses. Please keep the following key dates in mind.

September 15, 2026

Registration deadline for all students for Semester 1 Synchronous Live courses, Guided Learning courses and high school courses with work placements.

September 30

Full-Time Online Sask DLC Students
Registration deadline for Year-Long courses including those with work placements and Semester 1 to Year-Long transfers.

Part-Time Online Students
Registration deadline for Semester 1 Asynchronous courses, Year-Long courses including those with work placements and Semester 1 to Year-Long transfers.

December 1

Registration deadline for full-time online Sask DLC students for Semester 1 Asynchronous courses.

December 11

Final day for students to drop Semester 1 courses.

February 15, 2027

Registration deadline for all students for Semester 2 Synchronous Live courses, Guided Learning courses and high school courses with work placements.

February 28

Registration deadline for part-time online students for Semester 2 Asynchronous courses.

April 30

Registration deadline for full-time online students and Adult learners for Kindergarten to Grade 9 and Semester 2 high school Asynchronous courses.

May 1

Summer School 2027 registration opens.

May 30

Final day for students to drop Semester 2 and Year-long courses.

Sask DLC continues to accept registrations from K-12 students, young adult (18-21) and Adult (22+) learners throughout the school year, with the online registration form closing April 30.

Students who move or begin their online learning after September 30 for Semester 1 and Year-long courses and after February 28 for Semester 2 high school courses, will be required to complete an orientation process before they begin their courses.

This orientation process supports student success in their online courses. New students will typically begin their new courses on Wednesdays and processing a new registration can take approximately two weeks to process, complete orientation and begin their learning. All students are encourage to register and select courses as soon as possible, to avoid delays.

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre provides Kindergarten to Grade 12 courses to Saskatchewan students who choose to study online. We empower students and families to choose the learning environment that works best for them, while supporting their graduation plan.
