You will explore the craft and art of creative writing as you investigate internal and external sources of inspiration and information. You will delve into the genres of fiction, non-fiction, poetry and script writing.

What Will I Learn?

You will refine your creative writing skills as you read, analyze and write poems, fiction, non-fiction and scripts for a variety of purposes and audiences.

You will read, dissect and compose literature in each genre while learning to identify the elements of each form and applying your knowledge to produce your own original pieces of creative writing.

Through the course you will work on refining your own written pieces, which will become part of your final portfolio. Not only does this portfolio allow a you to showcase your written work, it will be a valuable asset if pursuing a writing career in the future.
