Drafting & CAD 20

Building on the basic skills developed in Drafting CAD 10, students will focus on residential home design.

Note: There is limited space in this course and registration will be closed once at capacity.

Prerequisite

Recommend completing Drafting & CAD 10. Students must have a Windows based computer capable of running both AutoCAD and REVIT. 30GB - 40GB of hard drive storarge is required.

What Will I Learn?

Students will learn to recognize and understand different types of planning documents such as floor plans, foundation plans, elevations, and detail drawings. Understanding the types, uses, and typical locations of specific building materials, students will create 2D and 3D architectural drawings of homes.
