Electrical 20 (theory with work placement)

Electrical 20, builds upon the theory of Electrical and Electronics 10. Students will gain skills and knowledge of wiring and lighting as well as an understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code and other electrical regulations.

Sask DLC coordinates the work placement at a local company.
Note: Electrical 20 with work placement is only available for Semester 2 registration in the 2024-25 school year.

None. Recommend completing Electrical & Electronics 10.

What Will I Learn?

This is an intermediate level course that requires students to demonstrate practical skills in combination with theory.

This course contains:

  • 50 hours of online theory

  • 50 hour work placement coordinated by Sask DLC

Students must be 16 to participate in the work placement, as per the province’s legislation on minimum age and workplace restrictions. All students, parents and mentors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with our work placement information.
