You will explore the skills needed to start and manage a business. You will create a business plan, launch a venture and learn about the role entrepreneurship plays in society.

What Will I Learn?

You will learn about the impact entrepreneurs have in our economy, increase awareness of the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship and how to approach problems creatively.

As part of this course, you will create your own business plan, launch a business venture and reflect on its success. By working through the entrepreneurial process, including ideation, research, planning, marketing, and legal considerations, you will gain the skills needed to create a successful venture.

The course also covers how businesses operate and the structure of the Canadian economic system.

This course also has a dual credit option with the University of Regina.
