What Will I Learn?

You will cultivate a general interest in food and gain meaningful knowledge and skills through the preparation of food, allowing you to continue to explore your passions. This course explores Canada's rich food history while exploring International Cuisine and customs.

You will learn how to make better food choices, how to understand recipes and how to safely work in a kitchen and handle food. You will learn about preserving food, how to entertain guests and the key elements of cooking meat, fish and poultry. You will also learn about vegetarian cooking and working with diary and egg products.

Note: You need to have been previously in French Immersion to register in this course.
