What Will I Learn?

You will have the opportunity to discover how financial literacy, education, career, family and lifestyle choices are all interrelated in your lives and future planning.

This course focuses on critical thinking, financial empowerment and well-being, through topics including earning, saving, investing, spending, borrowing, sharing, protecting and of course taxes.

As you explore the relationship between lifestyle and finances, you will gain an understanding of being able to live within your means.

You will also have the opportunity to explore potential career paths within the financial sector.

Online Live Class OR Asynchronous Course

Starting in the 2025-26 school year, you have the option to enroll in the Financial Literacy 10 synchronous live class course OR the online asynchronous course.

  • Synchronous Live Class: you attend a live online class taught by your teacher at a specific time, every school day. If you're interested in enrolling in the Financial Literacy 10 synchronous course, please review the synchronous live class details and schedule.

  • Online Asynchronous: you work through your online course on a flexible learning schedule, with online support from your teacher.
