Physical Science 20

You will investigate what happens to the energy gained or lost by heating and cooling processes, and explore how mirrors reflect and refract light and create images.

Prerequisite

Science 10

Delivered

Online Asynchronous or Synchronous Live
Summer School: Online Asynchronous only

Credits

Science 20 or Elective 20

What Will I Learn?

Physical Science 20 combines chemistry and physics in an integrated manner to investigate concepts related to heating and cooling, the foundations of chemistry, including the mole, quantitative analysis of molecules and chemical reactions, and the characteristics and properties of waves.

You can learn more about Sask DLC's Science pathways here.

Online Live Class OR Asynchronous Courses

You have the option to enroll in the Physical Science 20 synchronous live class course OR the online asynchronous course.

  • Synchronous Live Class: you attend a live online class taught by your teacher at a specific time, every school day. If you're interested in enrolling in the Physical Science 20 synchronous course, please review the synchronous live class details and schedule.

  • Online Asynchronous: you work through your online course on a flexible learning schedule, with online support from your teacher.
