Pre-Calculus 30

This course provides you with the mathematical understandings and critical thinking skills needed for Calculus 30.

This course is ideal for those planning on attending post-secondary programs.

Prerequisite

Pre-Calculus 20

Delivered

Online Asynchronous or Synchronous Live
Summer School: Online Asynchronous only

Credits

Math 30 or Elective 30

What Will I Learn?

You will focus of a variety of functions and graphs and the associated changes that occur when certain parameters of the equation are changed. There is an emphasis on solving equations and the various techniques employed based on the type of function.

Topics in this course include graphing functions such as polynomial, radical, trigonometric, logarithm, exponential and rational functions. The course will also dive into some advanced trigonometry including unit circles, secondary trig ratios and identities.

This course is ideal for those continuing to study in higher-level mathematics. You can learn more about Sask DLC's Math pathways here.

Online Live Class OR Asynchronous Courses

You have the option to enroll in the Pre-Calculus 30 synchronous live class course OR the online asynchronous course.

  • Synchronous Live Class: you attend a live online class taught by your teacher at a specific time, every school day. If you're interested in enrolling in the Pre-Calculus 30 synchronous course, please review the synchronous live class details and schedule.

  • Online Asynchronous: you work through your online course on a flexible learning schedule, with online support from your teacher.
