In Precision Agriculture 30L students will engage in 50 hours of online theory to expand their understanding of global positioning systems, sensing technology, and data management and then take that knowledge to the field with hands-on learning at a 50-hour work placement at a local agriculture dealership. Explore a career in this growing field!
Sask DLC coordinates the work placement on behalf of the student and will conduct the site safety and student monitoring visits.
All students, parents and mentors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with our work placement information.
Work placements provide students an opportunity to see if a trade might be right for them. This is only possible with the support of our partners the North American Equipment Dealers Association, Canada Equipment Dealers Foundation and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
