The Volunteerism 30 credit recognizes and reflects student learning through community service activities that may take place in a variety of settings, including businesses, not-for-profit organizations, public sector institutions (including hospitals and long-term care facilities) and informal settings.
**Note: This credit is available to full-time online Sask DLC students only. Part-time students should contact their local school to access this credit.
You are required to complete a minimum of 100 hours of volunteer time for one or more community service activities throughout grades 10 to 12.
The 100 hours of volunteering may be accumulated over multiple school years.
Your Volunteerism 30 plan must be submitted and approved by your Sask DLC Campus Principal prior to beginning your volunteer hours.
Students may only earn one Volunteerism 30 credit.
If you are interested in working towards the Volunteerism 30 credit, please contact your Academic Advisor or Campus Principal with questions and to receive the student information package.
